There are certainly some family friendly lodges in the Kruger Park. Places like Londolozi Varty Camp and Honeyguide Khoka Moya do offer family-friendly accommodation as well as specialised kiddies activities and meals.
It is however important to note that most family lodges do have an age restriction when it comes to game drives. Not only because smaller children tend to get a little bored along the way, but for safety reasons as well.
Depending on the time of year you choose to travel, and also where in the greater Kruger area you plan to visit, malaria may be a concern and would require some prophylaxis (easily obtained from your family doctor).
